Heh, haven't seen this one anywhere.
Odd artifacts appear everywhere while paused on NES VC games. Doesn't happen on anything else, not even Wii games, gamecube games, or genesis games. Same goes for my real genesis and NES.
This is an unhacked Wii, kept in great conditions. This only happened after I updated my wii recently.

Why did you flip the video around?
Sounds like a bug in the recent update. Maybe it will go away after the next update rolls out. But if it's not causing any major issues and everything else works fine, I don't see the major issue.
