Video Game Songs on Guitar

I noticed I few of you here play guitar, so I figured I'd share my latest creation with you.

I'm not actually sure where this song is from, but I know it's from the Wind Waker.

Another pretty good song I figured out, the gym theme from the Gameboy Pokemon games. Sounds surprisingly good on guitar.

I'd have to say, video game music is much better played on the piano. Most good video game music has more than one main track, which makes songs hard to play on guitar.

That's why I do it usually with two tracks!

I wish I could play piano. I have one, and I try teaching myself, but it's not working.

The Zelda song is from Outset Island (the island where you start).

Have to agree with you there, Kurt. Piano pwns. I've got some stuff from gamemusicthemes.com and played it on piano, pretty awesome. Haven't recorded anything though; I might do so sometime in the future.

I also forgot to mention. The great thing about piano + VG midis is that with a simple program (Noteworthy Composer, ex. It's free) and some editing (removing extra tracks), you got yourself easy, free sheet music!!!
