-Answered- Motor Help.

Ok , ive got this motor which I was planning on using for a project but realised I required it to go in both directions. So , rather than buying a new motor I had a mess about with the motor and realised that reversing the polarity of the battery made it go in the opposite direction:

Now , what I need help with is making it so I can control it (Like , being able to switch between directions) still running off of the single cell. How would I go about this? Thanks

Do you mean this - using a dual polarity switch (like I use on my projects):

Bacteria's answer is the simplest answer. I was going to recommend some tricky relay wiring until I saw his post.

Do you want to do it manually with a switch or automatically within time? You can use an oscillator/IC555 to create a signal and an inverter to animate it back and forth.

I use these switches all the time for projects. They are fine for basic logic (if in x position, then ... else...). Nice and simple.

I set up two of these logic gates together in my Nintendo 64 Advance project.
