VGA box

Post by Jongamer »

I am looking to buy a VGA box for around $50 or less, DE has one for $39.99 but with on 1 good 4 star review and was said it was for PS3/Wii yet it only has component plugins, no composite or S-Video, and with only 1 review I still don't trust it, but I do trust the site.

Anyone have any recommendations?
Links to the website where they sell them would be nice.

EDIT: Nevermind I found one, http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-11z ... ml#reviews

The Wii and PS3 both output Component. You don't really want to go from composite to VGA as the quality would suck big time.

Thanks for the tip, I was reading on another one that they had for 20 bucks less, but only converted Composite and S-video, and the guy said the picture was blurry.

So I am going with the $50 one that has very nice reviews.
And I already have a Universal Component cable for the Wii/PS3/360, and I am gonna snag some regular xbox component cables so I can use XBMC in a higher resolution.

EDIT:Why is there so little demand for VGA boxes? Only a handfull of site carry non-XCM vga boxes, is it because they are expensive for a converter or what?
