A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser might do the job

I did something similar with my PS2. Whhen you open a ps2 this sticker gets opened and then turns from black to clear so I sharpied the back of the sticker and now you c't tell it's ever been opened. It doesn't matter anyway since I got my PS2 ages ago so if it breaks I'm out of warranty anyway. Chances are the place won't give a damn what type of battery you have just say the old one sucked so you bought a new one.

indeed, that might be a good idea.

those things are just abrasive pads eh? you might want to start at something a bit coarser, like a 600 grit.

I dont think you are going to find many chemicals that will take it off without simultaneously melting the plastic.

however. why dont you just go in with that battery as it is, and say you old battery died so you got a new one on ebay?... that dosent void the warranty does it?

OK so I reread my warrenty papers and it seems that it doesn't matter which battery you have in it. They only look at the phone anyway. And the battery wasn't the problem. It did the same white screen thing with the new battery. Also, it seems that a lot of Chocolate owners are getting the same error as I did. Apparently it has something to do with a faulty ribbon cable in the phone. Stupid LG. Anyway, I took the phone in with the new battery (and a Burton sticker to cover the Verizon logo, just in case

) and they took it and sent it off. So, if all goes well, I should get my phone back in 2-6 weeks. (Nice estimated repair time hey...2-6 weeks. What a joke.)

2-6 weeks? Might as well of said, "We have no clue when your phone will get back."

That's exactly what went through my mind when they told me that.

Here's a renactment of the conversation:

Kevin: My phone is a piece.
Andre's Audiotronics employee: We can get it fixed for you!
Kevin: Great! How long will it take?
Andre's Audiotronics employee: Umm, according to my calculations, 2-6 weeks.
Kevin: ... *face palm*

Well thats not exactly how it went, but you get the idea.
