Its just a little finicky sometimes, because if I needed a new battery, it wouldn't save again till I replaced it. And it still does save.

Yea, it works fine. Looks like you need to change a battery.

speaking of that, has anyone done an SNES battery change how to with pictures? I searched a while back out of curiousity and all the ones I found were text-only. Also, I've heard you can either solder in a new tabbed battery or electrical tape in a regular battery (safer and easier, but maybe less reliable). Here's an opportunity for someone itching to make a writeup and not having any ideas .
