I hate to ask this but. I need a Program to combine a 2 vids

Do you have a technical question that doesn't really fit a specific console? Want some general info on electronics, hacking, making cookies, etc? Here's the place to ask! Go nuts.

I need a program, that will take a video that is split into 2 parts and combined them into one, preferably without having them be encoded, because I am doing this on a 500mhz P3, and it takes long enough to rip DVDs in my collection and be encoded. (Around 15-17 hours for a hour long DVD.)

The Videos are Divx videos in AVI compression if that helps.

What program/programs, could I use?

Ummm.... that's not what I mean. I don't want to play them in order to make it look like a single video, I WANT a single video out of 2. Let me rephrase my question.

Anybody know of a program that will take 2 video files and make them into one? If they have to be encoded again so be it.

May I ask why you need them as one file?

nope, not pr0n good guess though, it's accually Mythbusters.

Well I want them as 1 file so I dont have to dig through a moutain of files, plus it's lame to be watching the video, then having it end in the middle, and then you have to go open the other.

You might be able to do it with MediaCoder if both files have the same dimensions and frame rate.

You can use mkv tools to package both files into the mkv wrapper IIRC

Vdub might work also if they are the same resolution and the same size.
