I've heard about NES games on CD's before, there is currently some ?Australian? DVD player that comes with a disc of pirated NES games. The only problem is apparently they play at like 1/4 speed.Aguiluz wrote:Wait.. I really saw one at Greenhills back years ago. And I was at the Philippines back then. I played it as a demo unit. I don't know if it was the same unit though.
It plays Video CDs...
It does play CDs...
But... pop a PSX cd in and it won't play.
So... What does it play then?
Crappy NES games on a "propriety" CD. My rear end. (should I say "imaginary tail section?")
The controller is a PSX clone kind, down to the connector (!). I also noticed, just like the megajoy, the analog stix are fixed pieces of crap. The X and O buttons work, the [] and (triangle) buttons are turbos.
D-Pad works, Start-Select works, Shoulder buttons push in but don't give a darn.
Crappy knockoff. Period.
Could this be? (PSX Clone)

This one's playing at full speed. I played "Battle City" for 2 minutes then the creepy salesman scared me away. Eeek!17daysolderthannes wrote:I've heard about NES games on CD's before, there is currently some ?Australian? DVD player that comes with a disc of pirated NES games.
