Playstation Battery

I got the playstation screen and system and everything I just need to find a good battery/batteries to use for it. This probably spunds pretty noobish but I just want to make sure I get a good one for it. I'd really like to use only one battery. I don't want to use AAs for this one.

I have only had experience with one battery pack The MOBILE ONE battery pack from interact. This battery was awesome for about 3-4 weeks. Gave a good 2+ hours of playing time with the psone attached.. However... Recently it just went to crap. Out of nowhere it started dying after about 10-15 minutes of playing (and this is after a full charge).

Im actually going to get my machine running off AA's today so I have something to get me by til a replacement comes in. Since the only new batterys ive seen is the one I mentioned above im going to give it another chance. Anybody know of one they had a good experience with?

I've been able to run my PSOne of R/C battery.

As for the Interact battery pack, for how cheap the thing is it probibly has Ni-Cd, which sucks!

Well its big, best buy says it will power for 4 hours and as you said it last only for 10-15 now. Ni-Cd doesnt hold as much a charge as Ni-MH and the worst thing is it has a memory, that and Ni-Cd is cheap at 25-30 dollars for the PSOne battery pack I was suspicous of the quality of the batteries.

6 AA's are running my monitor better than the interact pack now... + they are a lot cheaper overall than the interact pack. (20 nimh 2000maH aa's on ebay for $20 )

If you go AAs you have to go 15 minute rechargables. Does anyone have a link for some high mAh 7.2 or 7.4 volt camcorder batteries.

It depends on if you NEED it that fast. This is the charger I use. It charges 4 of my 2000maH batteries in about 1 hour. Much more cost effective than buying $25 15 minute recharchables.

Ah and just for clarification I found the recycle stamp on the back of my mobile one box. And it specifies that the mobile one is indeed NI-MH.
