old = good in my case! the kenwood amp i have is in fairly high regard on audiokarma boards for having pretty good sound quality for an entry level 1970s soundsystem and the KD series turntables are audiophile level according to some! and you cant beat tubes period! lolyou aren't kidding. Shocked so... old... system... fail.
