Touch Switch

Post by projectwhat »

Some of you know that I am making a guitar hero controller from ground up. I want to know where I can find touch swtiches for the frets. Instead of having buttons they are gonna be a touch switch/sensor, unless I dont like the way they look (the ones I can find), if they wont work properly, or if someone can persuade me to something better.

Where can I find some touch switches/sensors?? I guess I need 5 of them...

I think the easiest way is like keyboards, using 2 conductive sheets separated by a piece of plastic (when you press they'll touch and conduct). I'm sure you can find non-tactile buttons though, maybe using mini lever switches.
