As most of us know, in 1971 a man calling himself D.B. Cooper boarded a flight in Portland, Oregon that was headed for Seattle, Washington on the night of Nov, 24. Which he then hijacked a Boeing 727 claiming he had dynamite in a briefcase. While in Seattle, he demanded and got $20,000, 4 parachutes, and to be flown to Mexico. While somewhere over southwestern Washington, he lowered the rear stairs of the Boeing 727. And jumped with the money never to be seen again. Heres a illustration showing how D.B. Cooper escaped: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... /727db.gif
None of the cash was found until 1980, when a 8 eight year old boy found $5,800 of D.B. Cooper cash in a river.
Now what sparked new interest for the FBI to find him was because they just recently found DNA on a cheap tie that D.B. Cooper had and left on the plane.
