Need to find a program

Post by Shadeslayer »

My bro-in-law has been working on his art and needs a program that has the following:

1) 3d figures (human)
2) Ability to move around the figure in any pose
3) and ability to move around the light source.

He found a program called 3d virtual figure drawing studio but the figure is already in set poses. Need something that will let us pose the model.

Try Autodesk 3ds Max.
http://www.autodesk.com/3dsmax

There's a free 30 day trial and I'm sure you can extend it if need be.

Just to clarify, does he want free software, or is he willing to pay? It makes a pretty big difference.

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

3ds Max, Lightwave and Maya are pretty much top of the line, but there's a hefty price on them.

It's software, it depends not on the price, just what he's willing to do to get the software.
