Looks like the Amero is taking effect this year.

We are entering the post-apocalypse.

10:20 here in Connecticut right now. I'm at my grandma's house with my cousins. They and my sister are in the other room watching Disney's latest can't-actually-sing-but-for-some-reason-is-stupidly-popular-and-makes-me-want-to-shoot-myself-when-I-hear-her-sing star on ABC. We're going to watch the ball drop at midnight and eat popcorn and candy and stuff. Nothing too crazy, but it'll be a nice little family thing.

Well first we threw some frozen popcorn chicken and a Tombstone in the oven, then I spent a few hours trying to get games working properly, then we played Tribond.

Happy new year, east coast! :D

Happy 5-6 in the morning, European people! :D

Yeah, I had to volunteer at my local First Night. It was incredibly boring. I had to maintain the line for this clown named Rami Salami. He's very anal about the line, but in all fairness he had been there since 2:00 and would be there 'til 10:30. I did get home in time to see askeletonImeanDickClark count down the new year before he keeled over and died. Seriously, the man is a reanimated corpse! My 50-year-old mother watched him bring in the new year when she was a kid!

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

I got invited to some parties, but that's never really been my thing. Can't stand all the loud noises; girls are a plus, though... :P

Anyways, I just invited a couple friends over to test out my 16th birthday present, which is this Friday. Folks got me a 40" Samsung 1080p HDTV for my room! :D Couldn't believe it. So we counted down the clock playing some Wii, 360, and topped it all off by watching Harold and Kumar go to White Castle while eating massive amounts of fries, popcorn, and leftover curry. Pretty good way to kick things off, if you ask me; 2008 should be a good year!

Well I hung out and played guitar hero I and II on a 60" plasma until 11:30 with my sis and bro-in-law. Fun stuff. Had buffalo wings, oreo cake, and chips and salsa. GOOD FOOD!!! Then had to drive my friend home (he was a little tipsy!). Should be an ok year. Hopefully better then '07.

Its 1:32 a.m.

Happy New Year to all!

crap.
You guys are talking about how great you're New Year's/Eve's are being and how that is reminding you how good 2008 will be. So, my 2008 is going to suck? My Eve has been horrible. :(
Out of anything I could have done, I stayed home. Friends went to a party, I chose not to go...why? idk

P.s. 10:54PM my time...
