The PS3 is actually quite a nice piece of hardware. Quiet and very reliable compared to my 360, which has already blown up once after only 6 months of use.

The PS3 is also starting to get a load of good exclusives. Look at Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid 5. Much better exclusives than what's coming out for the 360.

Folklore is a great RPG
Uncharted is amazing if like Tomb Raider games.
Warhawk is a great multiplayer game.
Unreal Tournament 3 is surprisingly great on the PS3 after playing UT on PC for many many years.

2008 looks really good for the PS3 and the price drop has helped it a lot. Aside from it's initial price point disaster you really get a lot for your money compared to the 360 with the new price points.

The ability to put in any size hard drive you want without getting raped like $180 for 120GB drive on the 360 is awesome. It doesn't void the warranty either.

You can use any old thumb drives and external drives for memory also and you can use most USB peripherals like headsets (or any Bluetooth headset), cameras, etc. It even has printer support, although I have no idea how that is useful.

The only thing I hate is the Sixaxis, you get used to it, but the 360 controller is still the best controller ever made IMHO.

WiFi, Bluetooth, Bluray and like I said it's very reliable and super quiet.

I personally like the playstation controllers over the Xbox (Especially the original Xbox controller). But I think the Wii-mote is the best.

The Duke was horrible, the S controller was great and the 360 took it and made it even better.

The DualShock 3 should be slightly better than the Sixaxis whenever it comes to the US. It has rumble and some more weight so it doesn't feel like a cheap dollar store toy like the Sixaxis.

But I think the Wii-mote is the best.

I like it mostly because playing its a different kind of fun. Instead of using the analog sticks to gun down crazy Japanese people with Uzi's, you can use the remote (or better yet the Zapper

) to aim and fire. Instead of pushing "B" to swing your sword, actually swing it.

But don't get me wrong, I still love my PS2, but I think the Wii has a better control scheme.

I have a wii to. But I think it needs some more games. I have gh3 on the 360 (haha we have surround and no mono haha, their fixing that though but we could've had the fix trough an update!) And besides that the only "real good" games are mario, paper mario, zelda. Don't say warioware or that crap is a "good game" it might be entertaining but it's definitly not "good".

Quit hating on the Duke controller

I like it better than the S controller, because the Black and White buttons are not in a "Stretch your thumb into an awkard position to press them" position.

I agree with ZN13, but not the Wii-mote by itself, Wiimote+nunchuk=Best controller ever

Bulging battery pack on 360 controller=Fail with AIDS

Lose the bulge and keep the wireless, then I will reconsider best controller ever.

So how long is this thread going to last until Jones comes and either talks about 360 controller or the SNES controller

To bad the 360 version wouldn't have had a update to fix it either if the 360 version had mono, it is not gonna be a couple of MB update, they have to go back and remaster all the music into Stereo, and now a few people are starting to think that this may have been a stunt by Neversoft to try and get Downloadable content onto the Wii for GHIII.

You guys are all NOOBS - the PSP and its plentiful game library is where it's at! The only reason that these arguments arise is because people like CronoTriggerfan can't handle "opinions" and resort to insults.

Excuse me while I go fold proteins on my PS3, do some waggle with the Wii, and pwn some noobs in Halo 3.
