Mods: Don't be jerks. Don't lock this again.

I like video games, as most of you do. I also like their music. What I like even more is fan-made remixes of the songs.

I just bought a new Sansa. I want some video game remixes on it.

I'm looking for some songs like these:
(All from OCRemix.org, go there to hear them)

JigginJonT - F-Zero Voices Broken OC Remix
JigginJonT - F-Zero The Flood Plains OC Remix
JigginJonT - F-Zero Silent Progression (Remastered) OC Remix

Where can I find his work or similar work (I'm in love with the The Flood Plains remix. Beautiful Piano. Now if only someone would make an equally awesome video game MOVIE)

There's a few other good OC Remixes I like.

Jredd - New Super Mario Bros. Mushroom Madness

What are your favourite remixes? Share them here!

I'm listening to some of the Donkey Kong Country remixes. The best way I've found to get these is using those online music search tools.

Touhou music has loads of remixes and a good number of them are good. I could be wrong but I think Galbadia Hotel has remixes as well as regular game soundtracks.

BTW the site your talking about is .org not .com

Download Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Hedgehog Heaven and Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos CDs on OCRemix, they have some awesome memorable tunes that I've been humming all day. Also, check out the Punch-Out!! remixes on there, they're awesome.

I've downloaded SO many OC Remixes... I love 'em. One of my favorites is Electric Clouds by Po!. It's the best Corridor of Time (Zeal theme from Chrono Trigger) remix I've ever heard; usually people screw it up, ESPECIALLY when they try to speed it up. Ahh... that Rhodes piano just melts your soul, doesn't it? 8)

All great music. Thanks guys. The problem is, never being able to pull away from Nintendo, I have limited knowledge of songs beyond them. (And, shamefully, I've never played Chrono Trigger yet). It's just not the same when you don't know what the first song sounded like, you know?

There's a lack of Metroid Remixes out there. I started one, but, as usual, never got close to finishing it. I guess the Prime series took care of that problem, though (I have 1 & 2 OSTs). I haven't seen many Zelda remixes out there, either.

Yes, it makes a HUGE difference when you don't know what the original song sounds like. And also, there's a lot of Metroid and Zelda remixes on OCR... what are you talking about? :?

Metroid - 11 Remixes
Super Metroid - 17 Remixes
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - 1 Remix
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 1 Remix
Metroid Prime - 1 Remix

There actually doesn't seem to be many Prime remixes at all, though. :?

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - 23 Remixes
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - 13 Remixes
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - 1 Remix
The Legend of Zelda - 13 Remixes
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - 22 Remixes
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - 1 Remix
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - 2 Remixes
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - 3 Remixes

...I put way too much effort into that.

By the way, The Wingless (remixer) is AWESOME. That is, if you like piano (Who doesn't?). Check out All the World in One Girl and One Girl in All the World. They're both Super Metroid remixes.

-_- That doesn't count. That's like saying Zelda songs are remixes. They reuse a lot of the same music, but just rearrange it differently. Look at Super Mario World; they basically used the same song for almost every level, just arranged differently.

Edit: Just read your first post again, it seems you do like piano. Check out kLuTz and Bladiator. They have some amazing piano remixes. kLuTz's playing is very expressive and emotional. Bladiator plays a lot of his songs with speed. But they're both awesome and vary up their styles from song to song, anyway.

There is Metal Metroid, where a guy did a bunch of Metroid songs on his electric guitar.
Most are pretty damn good.

I`ll see if I can find it.

EDIT:Found it!

Electric Rain: They are SO remixes. Take NES (Did he appear in SNES?) Ridley and then Meta Ridley. Quite remixed, if you ask me. Not redone, remixed.

Jon: I love you.
