its a Pentium 1 with 32 mb of RAM. Im going to be using it for vb.net, but im going to be running a small small version of windows... but i guess it won't work because it says it need 64 mb to run..
any suggestions?

XP will run, but you need 64 MB to install it, and even then it will be slow.
Trying to use it as a development box, especially for VB.NET is (for lack of a better phrase) is screw retarded. That machine is too damn old.
