Taking apart a wireless headset for the 360?

So I'm painting my controller black, and I decided the headset would look better black too, so I want to paint that. The way I'm painting my controller is taking it apart and just painting the shell, so i don't get any paint where I don't want it, either for aesthetics or functionality. Is there a way to do this with the wireless headset? I definitely don't want any paint on the LED's, speaker, microphone, or in between the buttons, so I'm not going to paint it unless I can take off the shell and put it back on without damaging it. I see no screws or anything, so I have no idea how to do it....

I've taken one of those apart, the case snaps back together fairly easy, I'm using mine as a PC mic instead of a 360 headset.


If I remember correctly though, there are a few screws holding the speaker in place, as well as the mic. Otherwise theres none.

So I can just pry at the seams? Or do only certain seams come apart easily? And do I need to unscrew things if all I'm trying to get off is the white shell?

The problem with prying is you normally break or at least deform the case. I think you should probably leave it unless you know you can get it apart.
