Wow, I got a new laptop. Thanks MDG! Also, post your pc spec
Wow, all of his complaining (and threatning to prosecute.) to MDG headoffice, about how theyre computers are crap, got me somewhere.
MDG, has now taken all the old models of their AptonBook's off the shelves. And, MDG gave me a Custom made laptop.
(Everything that has a "*" is custom made.)
My laptop has: 2 GB ram, 160GB HDD, *HighDef Screen*, *Nvidia 8600M GT 786mb* (Nvidias website says that the 8600M GT is only a 512, but my computer, and manual for the card says its Custom 786). Intel Core Duo2 (Two 1.4 ghz processors).
The one thing that really makes this Custom Made computer stand out is that: On MDG's website, and in their stores, they offer the same model of laptop BUT it only has a 256mb video card (Nvidia Go 7200), but mine has a 8600M GT which is 786mb!
This is one of the best laptops that I have ever seen.
What are your computer spec's?

Highly doubt that about everything I've quoted there, and your processor speed is wrong.HotDog-Cart wrote:*Nvidia 8600M GT 786mb* (Nvidias website says that the 8600M GT is only a 512, but my computer, and manual for the card says its Custom 786). Intel Core Duo2 (Two 1.4 ghz processors).
How about you run your computer on some app like EVEREST Ultimate and tell us the actual specs.

My PC is starting to become outdated, so when Christmas comes around I need to save some cash to buy some Ram and a Nvidia 8800 GT Graphics card. But for now, here are the specs:
Dell 8400:
3.2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 with HT Technology CPU
Nvidia GeForce 6800 256MB Graphics Card
Creative Sound Blaster Audigity 2 ZS Sound Card
250GB WD 7200 RPM Hard Drive
Extra Broadcom Ethernet Card (For Xbox purposes, obviously)
Linksys WMP54GS Wireless Card (Speed Boost)
DVD Drive (Drive 1) (A GDR that can rip Wii games, yayz)
DVD Burner (Drive 2) (NEC)
1 GB of DDR2 Ram
Windows XP Home Edition
Running on a Dell E196FP at 1280x1024, my favorite Resolution
I also have Vista and it rated my PC a 4.3, which is pretty good considering this PC is about 3 years old. Vista was trash so I went back to the much superior Windows XP
This thing can handle games on all high settings made from 1 year ago and back. Like I said, I'll be upping my ram and adding a killer graphics card.
Apple Macbook:
2.0 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
Built in Intel 64MB shared memory Graphics Chip
Realtek Sound Chip
Airport Wireless Card
80 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive (Unknown Brand)
8x Super Drive (DVD Burner, CD Burner, etc.)
1 GB of Ram
Mac OSX (10.4.11)
Windows XP Home Edition (WPA Cracked, nooby M$)
This is obviously no gaming laptop, but I didn't buy it to be one. It was meant to be a portable document editor, web surfer, and from time to time play less graphical intensive games like Halo for PC.

I built this one myself:
2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
EVGA Nvidia GeForce 7600 256MB Graphics Card
160GB HD
40GB HD (for Windows)
DVD Burner
1 GB of G-Skill RAM (getting a second soon)
Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (XP dual boot for games and such)
19 CRT (Piece of crap needs replacing)
Gigabyte 9653 DS3 motherboard
Raidmax Smilodon case (with a rice-tastic side window and lights, I only got it because it had a PSU and was the highest rated)
500 Watt PSU
Hopefully getting an eee soon, too.
