i have 2 projects to start

1. i have a fat ps2, it's controller port ribbon was broken, should i make a portable out of it?
2. should i take the remaining case and turn it into a small computer?

1. If you think you are capable of making a portable then do as you please, we can't make that decision for you. Fat PS2s also have a big MOBO and are hard to make into portables.

2. I really don't think you can fit a computer in a PS2 case. It would be a lot of trouble too so I don't recommend it.
