This is sorta a brag thread. I know I know. But, for anyone who lives in Ontario. You MUST check out pacific mall in Toronto.

Theyres like thousands of pirated stuff. (Movies, games, ect ect.)

Heck, Check out what I picked up! (A PowerPlayer, A fake Ipod Nano 3d gen, and some movies.)

:). The movies are: Deathnote 1-4, Final Fantasy Advent Children, Howls Moving Castle, and FinalFantasy X Video Walkthrough. (They were $3 each for a movie.)

The Powerplayer cost me $28CAD.
The Fake Ipod cost: $59.00

Worth it in my opinion. :)

Anyone been to this mall?

Not too sure. The firmware for this says it was made in 2006. :D

Could be a multiple usage firmware though. (A firmware which is used for a lot of players. Old and new.)

They are in China, I am pretty sure US legislation can do nothing much about it.

Those newer fake iPod Nano ripoffs look nice, but their OS is rubbish. Btw, did you really pay $59 CAD? DX sells em for $30 USD and free shipping

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

I think most of those cheapo "mp4 players" are actually built pretty decently for how much they cost. Its just that the software side of them fails horribly. Also, battery life (at least on my brother's) has a lot to be desired. I opened his up, the battery was 180mAh, so we replaced the cell with one from a spare PSP battery. Didn't quite get the 10x battery life we'd expected (probably a firmware thing), but it did at least double the battery life.

Eh, well. My battery lasts about 14+ hours. More since I dimmed the screen, and since I make the screen shutoff if theres no button press for 3 seconds. That saves a lot of battery!

Yes, I could have got it from DX, but I dont have a creditcard, nor paypal. I also wanted to buy it local, so I wouldnt have to wait. Plus, I had the money at the time, so I bit the bullet.

But about the power player. For some reason, the ON/OFF button doesnt work, so the console stays ON all the time. :S. That doesnt bother me much, as I can just take out that bettery pack. (Its hard to get out the batt pack sometimes.)

What's the MP4 player's storage capacity? I found a video of one of those and it says it's really 1 gig but the software is hacked to make it look like 8...

Looks like the same OS that runs the MP4 player Dr. Ashens reviewed.

For $20 more you probably could have gotten a cheap SanDisk player...

Are you saying the First one was easy? It's hard for the game to keep me remotly interested long enough for me to get anywhere.

FF1 isnt the easiest. The amount of money you get is imbalanced compared to the prices of things. The amount of experience is erratic. Luckily the "power peninsula" exists, or it would take forever to level up.

Bic: Woah dude. Its NOTHING like the OS of that peice of garbage. This OS, is pretty good actually. It also has good buttons, and a nice battery life. I like it, as a lot of people think its the new ipod nano. Its made extremely good, for being a cheap knockoff.

I also didn't know that the FFX thing, was a walkthrough, an anime, or a pirated copy. So I just grabbed it.
