dremel

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

I burned out my cordless Dremel's motor in a matter of days. Take that as you wish. ^-^

Personally I use a basic dremel and it does what I need. It runs of mains, two speed, 15000 RPM and 30000 RPM.

Mine is a Model 285 that runs at 15,000RPM and 35,000RPM. Very cheap and basic, but seems to work well enough for me.

I'm partial to the models with the fully adjustable speed controller.
I used to have a fixed speed and the model I was working on literally warped and fell apart cause of the sheer speed these things can run at.
(plus, I like running at 4kRPM)

The whole point of a dremel is to run at high speed. Most have a minimum of 5,000 RPM and if you want multi-speed that bad, buy a dimmer for $5.
