Ehh. I'd rather not use the PSP. The screen is like IMPOSSIBLE to see outside.

Can someone just please try to help me find a free map of Canada for GPS?

How do you know any of those other ones can be seen outside? Those are mainly for use in cars, wheres its a little darker. With a PSP on the 4th brightness level, you can see the screen ok-ish. I just think that your point is invalid, since the LCDs of 95% of devices are hard/impossible to see outside.

True said. Hmm. Would that TFT one, be good for outside? (The Garmin one thats $150.)

Also, people said route 66, and igo work with the Chinese GPS.
So, obviously some maps work. Hmm.. Halp me!

That garmin freemaps site, only has 2 maps of Ontario. Eastern and Southern. I think theyre missing 2 directions. (North, and East.)

Im pretty sure that the remainder of ontario ('northern' ontario) consists of absolutely nothing, and is not worth making a map for.

You can get a USB gps receiver (no screen) for $40. Do you have a laptop?

Yes, but didnt you read what I said timmeh? Im bringing this on the road with me. Like, I need it to fit in my pocket. And a laptop wont fit in my pocket, nor would a laptop be wise to bring "out" in toronto.

If you want detailed maps on something that fits in your pocket, then you are going to have to shell out.

Or you could buy a paper map for $5.
