Also, when are we taking these down? The 26th?
Whichever one you want, but I think "Menorah Antlers" is more amusing than "Elk with a Santa Hat".

You can leave it up until whenever you want. Want to take it down on the 26'th? That's your choice. January 1? That works too. Want to just leave it up and get a head start on 2008? Go for it!

Also, I slapped together a new one. The old Christmas avatar got slapped together in 2005.

I think the santa hat looks better, and fits in, too, but the antlers are funnier, and more accurate. Also, I obviously can take it down whenever, but when is a good time? And Harshboy, you should totally take the santa hat off of yours and put it on after the holidays. It'll be ironic.

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

The three of you can't lift 100 pounds?

No, no. I said its easily at least 100 pounds. Not to mention how hard it is to lift something that big and slick. Even with the ramp, it was really hard to push up, wouldn't surprise me if it weighed 200+ pounds.

Here ya go, nonsense man.

EDIT: After using some math, I calculated that the snowball weighed about 170 pounds, but I kinda guessed on the snow density. Wikipedia said its about 5-15% of waters density, but I think that the packed snow of the snowball is denser. If anyone wants to play with the numbers, its about 1m in diameter (which is about 520l), I assumed that is was 15% the density of water.

I think we're going to get our decorations up by the end of this weekend. In our house, we don't do much different than anyone else, but we always have some weird ornament for the tree. We have two wooden chicken ornaments and an Empire Strikes Back one. :P
Refusing to change my avatar since like freakin 2007.

I made one, it's not "great", but I spent quite some time on it, editing it frame by frame (16 frames). I had to edit out the hat into hair, edit a Santa hat to fit the position of the kid, then repeat . I actually found it quite fun, maybe I'll try to make a flash game w/characters like that... 8)
I got distracted multiple times, from the snow outside (Olympia, WA. That's rare.) to the Spyware popups that I'm too lazy to remove...

A few others I made, if you don't like them, I'm not forcing you to use them. :P

Thanks Adam! I know doing all 16 frames must have been annoying...but I assumed someone would want to/be willing to/be bored enough to do it. THANKS! :D

PS: You did a great job actually, especially considering how small the gif is...his hair looks good.

Now if you guys want a REAL challenge, give Crono and Magus a hat in my avatar. I'd be sorely impressed. :P
