Is there anyway to turn a wired controllor into a wireless controllor and ho do you fix a whammy bar???

Whats "broken" about the whammy bar? Is it the up down thingie where it won't go back up when depressed there was a rubber band fix for that. No you can't make it wireless. (without more effort then worth, involving taking a wireless board wiring it over (not to mention the cost of these wireless transmitters (good one))
