To build a portable N64 requires a hackable N64

I am looking to buy a cheap N64, I live in Canada, and would prefer to buy one up here for the sake of cheaper shipping. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get one?

$55, still rising, for an N64 and Super Mario 64.

E-bay is also like your step-mother :D.
Valve is the best company.

Really? I find I can buy N64 consoles, with controller and cable, for about £12 delivered (about $24), these are PAL and less of them about than your NTSC ones. Some of them go for more, but normally you only need to pay that sort of cash. Most game carts cost about £2-£3.50 ($4-$7) each only - very rare ones (Banjo Tooie can go for £34 ($70)).
