So, my ps1 board and ps1 lcd were hooked up in RGB, OK thats nice but it was very dark. But since it is in RGB the CV23 (I think it is) trick doesn't work. So I hook it up in standard RCA connections (the red, yellow, and white) now I don't get any video. All my connections are perfect. oh and yes my screen works fine.


FLASH BACK.....

Throughout my testing I have had stripped wires accidentally shorting stuff out (this stuff being 2 pins on a CPU). thats OK, just jump a couple of fuses and I'm back in business. Now it absolutely refuses to do anything.

So, my questions are;
1. Are you able to permanently destroy a ps1 board by sending a video signal into a ground?
2. Have I destroyed my ps1?
3. Am I the only person that has noticed the fact that there are 2 different ps1 boards? AND NO THIS IS NOT A PAL AND NSTC THING.

If the CPU on the PSOne has been shorted, the chip might be toast.

Oh well, That is why I bought 7 ps1s.

Umm... no there isn't.
Unless it is the PS originally released (darker gray) compared to the PS1 released in 2000 (light gray).
If it is the original, then the second one is for regulating power.
Same thing with the SNES models one and two. (Different release times though.)

Umm... no there isn't.

Umm yes there is. a large one with a chip in the top right corner and a smaller one without that chip and is also smaller in size.
