Getting audio to work

Post by Venom »

I'm good so far on the video and I am currently trying to get audio to work.

The screen I'm working with is kind of hard to get inside of, because one of the screw heads is broken up and there's no way to grip it with the screwdriver anymore.

There are three yellow wires that are audio all audio coming out. I'm not sure which one's which though. Assuming I did, how would I connect these to the SNES? I've done some searching and haven't really found an answer.

Thanks.

Thanks for the link, but I already own his book. The problem's not with finding the audio sources on the SNES, but how to connect them properly to the three wires shown coming out from the screen. I've tried quite a few things and have had nothing related to sound, and even got some creepy effects on the screen.

My guess is that the top one is left, the middle is ground and the bottom left is right. When I straighten it out that's how they line up at the source. My question is, how do those connect properly? (Also, I can't get inside the screen, busted screws)

well solder the wires to the SNES audio out?

3 wires for audio + ground, to me, means I would try to hook them up as L, R, A/V Ground, and your ground wire. It could also be a line for volume or the likes, it depends where it was originally hooked up to.
Hey, sup?
