My 360 Laptop
NO I'm not finished yet..... But hopefully in about 2-3 weeks I will be! BUT I have hit a problem that I can't figure out on my own so I'm here. Now from what I gather on this forum no one else has made a 360 Laptop but maybe someone has enough general knowlege to help a man out. I am trying to get power to the LCD screen... Now according to the "how to" posted by Ben he mentions that the LCD will be connected to a switch on the bottom half of the laptop to turn it on and off, I get that, and the main power board will be added to the power brick of the 360. Well he didn't mention how to get the power from the power brick back to the monitor. I noticed in one of his pictures that he used some type of 4 pin power connector placed on top of the 360's reciever for the power. Anyway that is al I can get from the pictures. I don't have any idea on what I should do here. Anyone??? Please.....

ok, I've remoted the power to an LCD from a 'brick', and it's pretty simple.
The switch isn't really needed, all it does is allow the 360 to run as a standalone, maybe plugged into another display. (projector, bigger tv, etc...)
You don't need the switch if you want the monitor to ALWAYS have power running to it. Also, there's an lcd power button included with the monitor, just use that when you want the screen blank.
the 4 pin plug can be a three pin plug, it just needs the ground, positive and negative connections. This connection is run along the existing power supply cord for the 360.
there are more details on the engadget site that ben posted his process.
think it through, it's not impossibe.
