Google and forums like this are amazing when you're in over your head, and my thanks for all those people who have 1000's of posts helping people who are lost in the dark. I try and do all my reading before asking stupid questions on the forums
i wish we had more noobs like you! also fantastic job on that xbox! for a first mod its one hell of a job! could be a little bit thinner but im sure youll adress that in the next revision

Nice job, looks kinda massive at first glance, but its not that bad when you realize how big the screen is. If you want to make a smaller one, I'd suggest using a smaller screen and leaving out the DVD drive. Then just transfer game files over a network or have a port to plug a DVD drive in externally so that you can save games to the hard drive.

I've seen a few other mods done that have completely cut out the dvd drive. I need to do some more digging to find out how they did that. (most of them are called 'slim box' mods I believe.)

I have to say, they look sexy as hell. Might be an idea for version 2.
