Just finished COD4 and to anyone contemplating a purchase VS a rental here's a first hand account of how short it is.
It's, well, short. I played for about an hour on Thursday when I got it, no more than 4 hours on Saturday night and 1.5 hours tonight. And I beat it.
You might wonder why I have such an exact account, it's because it went so fast I tallied up the times in my head trying to figure it out, almost in disbelief. Kind of like when you wake up hungover and try to gauge "how much did I drink last night?" because you didn't think you had enough to earn a headache.
Anyway, it's an awesome game, but it's been a while since I've been this disappointed with playtime. Lost Planet, Stranglehold, also considered short, both seemed a lot longer than this.
