How do I install a program to a flash drive instead of my PC? I want to put MapleStory on my flash drive because it won't fit on my PC (Shows how crappy it is).

When you install the program, do the advanced or custom install, then you can specify which drive to install to. Depending on the program, it might not work on another computer, because all the registry stuff is still on your computer, so it'll only work if it doesn't use the registry for stuff.

If you can hunt down the entries you need in the registry, you can create a .reg file and save that to your flash drive. Then run it on another computer and it'll put in the necessary stuff into the registry and the game will run.

Won't work, it will still install registry to the primary Windows HDD.

Yeah, isn't that what you'd want? :? You store the .reg file on the flash drive, use it to put the relevant registry entries into the registry, then run the game off the flash drive.

All he needs to do is install it on the flash drive...just specify the drive as the install location.
He said he wants to play on his computer, but doesn't have space. Not that he wants to take it with him everywhere.

Get a program called Thinstall and capture the install to it, and pack it to make it portable.
