i think windows is fine ahd it can be made to look good with window blinds! then you have your own skin system. oh yeah i got full signal on my logitec key board and mouse. so yes i beleave windows is ok and so mosty defanitly linux for what ive seen its better, but tobad the world runs on windows xp they are the one s that have all the games out for them. they are the ones that have programs out for them that arelike word and office that they sell, so i think people sould invest in free ware programs untill they start charging for there program then linux well become more desirable. the switch will be gradual.

Honestly, Windows isn't that bad. Linux is more customizeable... but c'mon. While in theory it lets you do almost everything Windows does, the software support still isn't there. Then again, most of the software I use also exists in Linux, but I'm guessing my laptop would not be supported too well (Windows 2000 doesn't fully support it).
In short, I get Windows for free from school so I'm not about to go to Linux until I graduate

I have this old comp sitting around my house Its the kind where you have to type in WIN to get the os to start I think its one of the First versions of windows do you know if it is? Cause it has to be from like the early ninetees the hard drive is like 428mb and it has like 4 cards in it.
