Anyways I 've reading this forum for awhile trying to find inspiration for a project I could do myself with a low budget..and I found one. A Guitar Hero guitar made from scratch. I have everything except I don't know what to make the case out of.
I don't have a vacuum table so that won't work, no project cases are big enough to frankencase out of...so my last option is bondo I guess. I have a few question about it though.
1. I can buy the car bondo or spot and glaze putty which is in the same tube. Which would work better?
2. I know you can't create a case out of pure bondo. I need some kind of sheel for support. I was thinking cardboard but would that be strong enough? I was thinking of using some plexiglass I have at home but that stuff is expensive over here in Canada so I don't really want to waste my Dad's whole sheet of plexiglass.
So what do you guys think? Also I'm on a 10-30 dollar budget here....
