I got high speed now but a download limit of 8 gig. Is there a program or something to track all my downloads so i know where im at? thanks

There was a program I used to use called "free download center" or something like that, I cant remember if it shown how much tho

That includes web surfing, right? I think you should be ok as long as you don't download stuff constantly. I have a program called cFosSpeed, and I don't think that I've ever used much more than 8GB (not sure if its in giga-bit or -byte) in a month. That even includes downloading lots of stuff and linux iso's, along with my normal web surfing.

GB - GigaByte - 8 GigaBits
Gb - GigaBit
Capital B is a byte, lowercase b is a bit. 8 bits in 1 byte.

8GBs of bandwidth should be fine if you only downloading small things, as opposed to 1GB DVD rips and such.

I know that, the program only says "G", though, so I'm not sure what exactly it means. I think its GB, since it says utorrent has used a bit over "1G" today, and I downloaded a 700MB linux iso that has uploaded about the same, so GB is the only unit that fits.
So far this month, I've used 2.7GB of bandwidth, including that torrent today.

I thought you were referring to GB/Gb as a unit of measurement and were confused on the terms themselves, now I see you were talking about cFosSpeeds use of the terms.

Wow. I have never heard of a download limit of 8 GB. Some times I download more than 8 GB in a single day!

Seriously man, get a better ISP.

I cant get a better ISP its a intenna internet and i live out of town... sure is fast tho. Anyways i only need to track how much ive downloaded in a month. ?!?!?!
