Super Mario Galaxy!

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

One week and counting, people! :D I really wasn't too hyped about it before, but for some reason now I really am looking forward to it. It's like Sky said to me on AIM, it makes for a great game to sit down and play with a blanket in a big cushy chair now that (where I am, at least) the weather's getting chilly. Me personally, I've got my copy reserved and paid off (along with Brawl, w00t :P ) and will be picking it up the day it comes out. Anyone else going to?

Oh, and just to hype the release a bit more, I'm re-re-playing Super Mario 64. I haven't played it since I beat it on DS a couple years ago, so this is a welcomed return.

I will get this game on the 12th come hell or high water. (No camping though, saving that for Brawl.)

I saw one of those "everyone plays the Wii" commercials for this game, and it had something totally impossible. They were playing SMG on a movie theater screen! Where would the sensor bar go, and how would it work on such a large screen?

BTW, this game looks meh.
PM me for DS friend codes. PLEASE!

That's exactly what I'm doing. Me and my friends are having a "Smash Party"

Why? :? You can't say stuff like that without giving an argument. It's a Mario game, the Wiimote controls are ridiculously innovative and smooth, the graphics are gorgeous, especially for Wii, the story, while standard Mario fare, looks epic and seems to have plenty of new characters and twists, the power-ups look amazing, and did I mention it was a Mario game?

Defend yourself, man! *Tosses Benol a sword*

You can always get it early if you "borrow" it from t3h arrz. Of couse, if you buy it when they release it, else it would be not only illegal (which it already is even if you are about to buy it in most countries, but judging from other posts here, nobody seems to care, and after all I am not posting any links, and, by the way, this parenthesis-sentence is getting way too long but I still write useless stuff in it), but also immoral.

This game looks meh? WTF?

Oh, yeah, the Sensor Bar issue. You know the technology behind the Sensor bar, don't you? Two powerful infrared sources do just as well. space them urther than on the original sensor bar for OMFGHUGE screens.

Damn it, you Americans get it 4 days before we do! I've got to wait until the 16th :x

I went and pre-ordered it at my favourite indie game shop today. He said I didn't have to pay a deposit, and I actually get it a day early apparently! Score 1 for TOOHF! :P

Oh, and benol, you're clearly an idiot. I mean, no offense or anything, but you're a complete idiot :P

At this moment, I'd tend to agree. How can you NOT be excited for this game, at least to some degree?

My only reasoning could be that benol's Mariogalaxius gland in his brain isn't functioning correctly. In normal humans, about 1 week from release, this gland releases insane amounts of awesomeness, causing random outbursts of ICANTFRIGGINGWAIT, periods of jittery movement and hallucinations that every DVD-case shaped object is a copy of the game. I dunno, maybe benol was dropped on the head as a baby?

I played it. It's so AWSOME!!! I went to the nearest Gamestop, and they had the full version, not a demo!! I sat there for about 2 hours, and got 8 stars. Believe me, it is an amazing game. The graffics are very smooth, the controls feel better than ever, and the whole space feeling works perfectly. My favorite part was the Honey Hive Galaxy, though. Bee Mario was a lot of fun.

You know it got a 10 from Eurogamer. That's like one of, I dunno, 5 games there with a ten.

It's gonna be good.
