Same exact thing with me. I eat at least 8 servings of fruit a day. Miracle food! Too bad it doesn't provide much protein though, then I'd be set to a life with only fruit. :(
Yummy I used to eat a peach or two everyday after school, I know eat a pear after school and a pair at dinner. :D

ya. fruit is definitely superior than candy. i have tons of candy on my desk but i'm not eating it. i mean, if i had to choose between a snickers and some cantaloupe, i'd go for the cantaloupe.

I feel different. I hate most fruits with a passion. The few I like are grapes, tangelos, pineapples, and clementines.

Since Halloween, about half of my food intake has been candy (ok, maybe not that much, but a lot). I like fruit, its just that we don't always have some, so its out of the ordinary to be able to grab an orange or something.

Ever since that PopSci article, I've wanted to try carbonated fruit.

Pineapples have healthy enzymes in them that aid digestion. Even the pineapples we get over here (barely ripe at all, shipped while green and eaten not much afterwards) are great. I've always wanted to try fresh tropical fruit. Fresh bananas, mangoes, and pineapples are something some of you Americans take for granted.

And you know this is Benheck F42 when a thread titled "What are you being for halloween?" is still active a week later talking about the benefits of fruit.
Hey, sup?

...Hawaii, maybe. The main states generally don't have the greatest climate for fruits, especially tropical ones.

Also, wait, aren't you an American as well?

Yeah but he's still American considering Canada is in N.America. Why wouldn't Canada get fresh fruit when USA does?

Your country is connected to most of ours by land. Does fruit take that long to go through customs? We basically grab it out of China's hands without looking! (That would explain the tainted beef and lead paint toys... No offense, China.)

But yeah, I can understand. Up here in New England, we don't get very good produce outside the growing season. (And even during the growing season, we don't grow much locally. Mostly apples and corn.)

It was a satirical question. He said "you Americans" as if he was not included. Don't use my own smiley against me! Image
