If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
I recently got a PSone LCD screen with the intention of using it for one of the NES portables outlined in Ben's book. Having opened it up, I figured I would plug it into my PS2 slim to see how it screen looked. Since the I AV Multi out socket blocked the PS2 power cable I cut if off. I then plugged the Screen into its adapter, the PS2 into its adapter and connected the Screen to the PS2 directly via the AV Multi in.
The grand result was...Sound, but just a blank black LCD Screen.
I'm I missing something here or did I already break my screen by cutting off the AV Multi out.
