This forum is quite specifically for portablizing. It was enough of a stretch to get the handhelds section in but for modding PC's their are already loads of different communities just for that.

That is until someone(Hopefully myself) or a group of people actually completes a (few) portables, and there's an actual need for one.

I can't speak for everyone, the.edge, but so long as anything you post is well thought out and at least mildly interesting it will be welcome here at Forum 42. I don't think this place has sunken quite low enough to shun cool stuff just because it doesn't fit the forum's main purpose......yet.

I assume by "PC modding" you mean PC ricing? (Adding windows, lights, and other shiny toys without improving system performance.) We're a console hacking/modding forum, and aren't desperate enough for attention to even think about adding unrelated forums. (Besides, our primary focus is on functional mods, not lights and plexiglass.)

Sure! In reality, they aren't all that expensive if you shop smart etc. Regardless, some of us have jobs.

I built a 360p, a PS3p, and a WIIp all in one 6" x 7" x 2" case, but I lost it. It only cost me $40 to make!

Please excuse Mr. Troy, he's new here and thinks he has enough money to last him the year making portables.

I built a 360p, a PS3p, and a WIIp all in one 6" x 7" x 2" case, but I lost it. It only cost me $40 to make!

Can you make me one for $10.76 US? It's all the money I have. It almost covers the cost of all 3 of the systems, and should be well enough for the labor (labour for you non Americans)!
