Any other Python fans here? I've seen quite a bit of the Flying Circus, and I've seen Life of Brian and Holy Grail (but not Meaning of Life yet sadly). This is probably my favorite Python sketch.

Who else here can tell how to recognize different types of trees from quite a long way away?

I love monty python. My favortie sketch would be "the goldenage of ballooning", which is in 3 parts, its a whole "flying circus" episode long. I've been meaning to see the holy grail for a while, I was going to watch it at the games club lokc in but I fell asleep

That's a good sketch, then again, there aren't many bad ones.

I'm a fan too, I picked up their autobiography recently, though I haven't had a chance to read it yet (it's huge). The Holy Grail is definitely my favorite piece of theirs that I've seen so far.

The cheese shop sketch and the Spanish Inquisition were good.

I saw it the first time around as a young lad. It was revolutionary then!

The album of "Live at Dury Lane" was a great album, still would make most people laugh; the rest of the albums they made sucked.

Python sketches are too dated now, it is far funnier remembering the sketches than seeing them now (quite painful to see them now). Life of Brian is a great film, Holy Grail is so-so, and Meaning of Life is bad.

I disagree. The only Python album I've listened to is "The Album of the Soundtrack of the Trailer of the Film of Monty Python and the Holy Grail", and it is hilarious. "A Lesson in Logic" is probably my favorite part in the album.
