Screen goes dark and flckers?!

Hey. Somthings wrong with my Inter-act ps1 screen. After using it for about 15 minutes, it automatically dims down, and then starts to flicker between bright and dim like every 5 seconds.

I dont know if this is because of Im using it on my dreamcast, and/or Im using headphones.

The screen also gets hott very quickly, and could be the cause of the problem.

Can someone tell em why Im getting this problem?

Are you using the original PSU, or an alternative one/batteries?

Original PSU. It might be the wall adapter, as well, plugin its in, is old, and has no cover.

Try running the screen with nothing but power hooked up, it might just be the screen, maybe the backlight is going out.
