Need pirate SNES

Post by Professor K »

Hello, I went on here a while ago, and got some general insight on how to make the stuff. Anyway, I saw a link to this somewhat popular game site in HK, with pirate Genesis and SNES. It was a pirate model of the later SNES, with the smaller boards, it also probably wouldn't use those Nintendo screws either. It also had these pirate NES that looked like Xbox and PS2s, help would be appreciated, thanks.

Just to let you know, although the pirate mini-snes consoles from that site are only $35, shipping for them is $32, so it's a lot more than you'd pay on ebay for a real mini-snes console.

I plan on ordering more than one, so that'll offset shipping, I want to semi-mass produce my portable, so I'll probably order like 3 of them to start off with. What I need to know is the URL of the site, I forgot it, unfortunately.

For shipping to the US there's a base charge of $22 for the first kilo, and $10 per kilo after that.

When you find it be sure to post it here. I would very much like to see all those pirates.

Thanks

I think I'm gonna buy me a Genesis, too. I can also get a ton more controllers for all my systems, too.

Thanks.

Too bad they don't got the pirate NES that looks like an Xbox, those are cool, haha!

Anyone know the dimensions of that pirate Snes's board? Or if it works very good?

Oh sorry, now I'm registered.

Anyway, I'll have to find out myself, it's probably pretty small. Maybe I'll get really lucky and it'll be a on a chip. I think I'll buy a NOAC from there, just for practice.

Anyway, I'm using a pocket TV for the project, I'd like to keep the TV in tact, got any ideas? I also plan on running it off 2 9 volts, I'll get horrible battery life, but I'm going for compactness here. I'd like to keep the tuner working, because I'd like to not pull out another item from a crowded car to watch Conan Obrien on road trips.

I also got this crazy idea of a seperate spot for the cartridge. The cartridge set-up would go in a pocket or something (I'm one of the few people that buys cargo pants and fills up the huge pockets), from the pics I've seen, that part is modular, so it can work.
I like beef jerky.

It's just as easy to keep track of who is who if they don't register, as long as they put in a name.

So Professor K, did you ever get that pirate Snes? If you did, do you think you could put up some pics of the motherboard?
