With college comes small mods; the Pac-Station!

Looks amazing, man. I'm not so thrilled about the LEDs though. Too bright. On my SNESp, I put a coat or two of paint (white) over the LED. It still glows, but it's soft, not DS Lite use-it-as-a-flashlight bright.

Honestly, I'm not too crazy about the Pac-Eye and blue lights, but it has your usual quality, seamless Bondo work. Nice job!

If you want to make the lines more closely resemble the lines in the game, you could cut a long hole out of the case, put the LEDs inside, and use something like translucent plastic or wax paper to diffuse the light.

(How does Pac-Man move around the maze anyway? Does he fly? Walk? Roll?)

As for pacman moving, I don't have any theorys. All I know is he never turns when I tell him to and he withers into oblivion! I almost think he's an organic lifeform the way he withers.

How did you paint the top of the case yellow?

I just painted the whol lid yellow, then taped the edge off andcovered it with a bag, then sprayed the end of the lid black.

That's awesome. Seriously. I want one now, even tho I am a Nintendo/Atari Fanboy!

However, there are two things I don't like about this (no, not the exposed CD thing, even tho I can imagine it will make the laser get dirtier sooner):
-the blue LEDs (I just dislike them...)
-the un-pacmanish eye. These should look like an early mickey mouse.

I agree, it's not perfect, I just wanted to get the idea done and out there before I lost interest, lol.

BTW, if anyone is interested in buying this, please let me know! I could always use some extra cash. The amount would probably have to be >$50, just to save some trouble right there.
