iPod Classic audio pinouts?

Post by Mikeyman64 »

I'm trying to make a dock for my 80GB iPod Classic and I can't find any up-to-date iPod pinouts on the internet. Does anyone have a dock for an iPod Classic that has an audio out port, and if so can you find out which pins are used for audio out?

Many thanks.

Up to date? You'd think every iPod would have the same dock pinouts... how are you sure they don't?

It seem that with the changes with the video out and whatnot it might have changed a bit. Plus, every pinout chart I've seen so far (2 or 3) have been either 1g-5g or 3g-5g.

That's one of the pinouts I have already found. I have heard something about the classic maybe having a special 33 pin setup, but I guess it cant do any harm.
