Just search google. I spent 10 seconds googling custom psp intros and found a few pages and video on how to do it.

And I did google it first, but every method I saw had a chance of bricking the PSP. I wanted to know how Shock did it.

Yea, I guess your right he didn't really answer your question.

Any time you deal with custom firmwares you have a risk of bricking your psp. Just make sure you follow all the directions exactley how they are told and you should be okay. Even if you do brick you psp there is still the pandoras battery.

Ok I have made captures of the first two intro versions. The default one and the holding Z on controller 1. I can not make any others because I only have 1 controller and no one who lives around me still has a cube.

Each intro has 2 versions, one where its just going from the intro into a black screen and the other where the big G spins into the menu since I wasnt sure which you wanted. Enjoy:

Just copy the PSP folder into the root of your memstick, then restart the PSP and hold the right sholder button as you restart to enter recovery mode. Go to configuration.
Disable the SCE logo on startup. Enable the autoboot of BOOT/EBOOT.PBP.
Now exit recovery, the PSP will restart and you will see the cintro movie.
Press start to end/cancel playback.
