Bricked PSP - Need Help
I bricked my psp, and went out and bought a new psp that has 3.51 firmware on it from Sony....
I bought a extra battery and i have a extra memory stick.
I need to unbrick my psp hopefully using the new psp i bought to create the mem stick
and battery needed for the pandora service battery.
Things I have right now.

Ya I know I wasnt sure what firmware was going to be on it so I went to a store that dont sell much electronics hoping they would have a older model... anyway ive already taken apart my old battery and unsodered pin 5 correctly so i just need to make the mem stick now which is easy so hopefully this will all work and i can take the new psp back

THANKS iam7805!!!!!!!!!!!!! With your sodering tip, I was able to make the battery that this stupid new psp couldnt do! I found the pre made files for the magic mem stick, all i had to do was install the msipl.bin via the usb connection on the new 3.51 OEM PSP.... Which I was then able to create the magic mem stick.(I WILL TRY USING A MEMORY FLASH CARD DRIVE IN A PC NEXT TO SEE IF THAT WILL INSTALL THE MSIPL.BIN TO THE MEM STICK THUS CREATING A MAGIC MEM STICK - INTENIONALLY BRICKING MY PSP AGAIN) I inserted the mem stick and battery and turned it on and it instantly booted to the screen to start flashing and restoring the files!!! I PROMISE 100% YOU CAN DO THIS EASY WITH 1 extra battery ( I SAY USE A SPARE AND KEEP THE PANDORA BATTERY) as if you desoder the 5 pin like iam7805 says to its so fricken tiny i say it would be hard to re-soder it but thats just me as i suck at sodering.... I did use iam7805's TIP USING A EXACTO KNIFE holding it flat to test the pin 5's link had been severed. I used a very fine tiped tiny pair of side cutters to cut pin 5 severing the link between the chip and the board of the battery. Taped it back up with some ductape and vola pandora service battery made!
