Cartridge Connection Chaos
I've heard from Ben's NEsMicro guide that you can use Floppy IDE connectors to make your own NES cart adapter, but I'm a little lost here. What should I do to make the cartridge fit inside it? I know I'll need to knife out that center section first...
Apparently Ben's the only person to actually get this to work... at least that I know of. I spent uncounted hours trying to make this work for a few different projects, and never succeeded.
Don't know why though. To make it fit, I had to cut off the "bridge" in the connector so the slot was unblocked, and cut off the end of the connector (i used a power sander) so when put next to teach other, the two connectors coudl go on either side of the cart.
