@limpport

That's strange. Do you have the latest version of DirectX installed? That's the only thing I can think of. If you could post the specific error message, it would help.

@Harshboy

What are your system specs? The only place it's a bit laggy for me is after you reach the sniper building. For the rest of the time its fine.

This is directed at everyone really. Bear in mind that its the first release, and as such will have issues such as slowdown and possibly a few bugs. Most are the fault of FPS Creator, not me. That said, I really appreciate people downloading and playing it, and I also appreciate people's patience, because it's definitely not perfect :P I will try my best to iron out the issues, as well as making the game generally better.

I really didn't like it and it was laggy for me to. But you have already made something better then any of the games I ever made so just keep working at it.

Good enough to play UT3 with Medium-High Settings with no lag(In advanced I have the 4 and 4 checked out of 5 and 5). I think I can say I still have an Ok Gaming PC. Oh, and if this also helps state my specs, I can play Half Life 2: Episode 1 full settings with no lag at all.

Mine got laggy when I got into a building and it actually stopped and encountered an error after about 1 minute.

I played it again and beat it (at least, I think. I got to the area with the machine gun and encountered 2 dead ends.)

I would suggest having more enemies and attack with faster, weaker weapons.

@Harshboy

Clearly it's the fault of the game, not your system then :P The sniper building hits 1-2FPS when you go through the door, for some reason.

@Kurt_

I'll take those suggestions on board :)

Check the website, I've put up a gameplay video of the first level, so you can see what it's like if it won't run for you. I'm trying to address the issues raised. Register on the forums too, and post suggestions etc :)

BOOMP!

I've released a new version, 1.2, it's on the website in the first page. I've added more enemies, more objects and background music. I also uploaded it on Rapidshare, so the download speeds should be much quicker.

Please, you play!

What about Lost Coat, 'cause that's really where it counts :D

I intend to tes the game soon, but the dl speed is terrible.

Who lost a coat? And why does it count? :P

I can play Lost Coast on almost 100% full settings. On 100% full settings my Frame rate goes down to around 30 FPS but when I turn the AA down one notch it shoots up to 50 FPS.

I'll try out the new demo, hopefully it isn't mega laggy.

It's Tuesday, did you bring your coat?

Someone's going to have to go back home and get their coat...

On topic: Good game! It's coming along.

Off topic: UT3 looks amazing. (And by "amazing", I mean "like it will kill my poor 3.0ghz P4 and Radeon 9200".)

Cheers guys, I'm glad you like it :) The first release was a bit crap, but this one's better, as you said :P

Off topic: Can't wait for UT3, I've gone back to UT2004 to hone my skills for online :P
