however it's only 6w altough this doesn't neccesarly means it doesn't have "enough heat"

Seen them before, they are useless.

They hold no heat, so as soon as you touch a contact, its cold again.

Battery powered soldering tools always fall short of their plug-in siblings when it comes to power. (Unless you're modding in the middle of the Yukon or something.)

Besides, for most projects, electricity isn't "out of reach"; that's what they invented extension cords for!

If you're going for cordless, go for a butane iron.

Its what I have, cost me $40. Best one I've ever used.
