Cartridge Connector

Alright, so I'm building an NES portable. I come to the part where I need a new cartridge connector, so I spend 3 hours soldering one with two card connectors and ribbon cable. I finally finish, and it's the moment of truth! I plug it into my nes, and into a cartridge, and...
Nothing. Nada. Zip, zero, zilch. So I check all the connections, check all the wires, check the connector, and I try again. Nothing.
All that might have been to say that I cant make something right, but it isnt. Instead I was wondering if anybody knew where I could buy pre-made nes cartridge connectors.

Make sure the cart contacts are alligned with the card edge connector

2. did you add the extra wire like on ben's noac to kill any built in games?

I asked a question about "what connector" I should use for my NOAC project, and I was told that pretty much only ben has been successful with the floppy connectors, as the spacing is a little different and... well ben is awesome like that.

I know I never got MY floppy cartridge connector to work, and I eventually broke down and bought a game genie, then desoldered the connector from that.

Even though it's a lot of work to re-do all the sodlering, that's what I recommend.

That is because you need to bend out all the tabs in the connector to get good contact. The Nes game boards are thiner then the standard size.
